I am so with Uni!! We used to have an orange tabby that talked to us all the time, especially to Di (she was his person). One day his 'conversation' took on a new note of urgency. I suggested to Di that she spend some time with him, listening with her heart and seeing with her third eye.... He was able to tell her that he needed to leave very soon, and would miss her very much. She thought she was just 'imagining' it, but he passed on several days after that, very unexpectedly (he had a heart condition that we didn't know about until after he died). We were both VERY glad she started listening to him in a different way!
Since then, we try to do that with all of the animals that live with us. It's cool.

Thank you - TuRu was a very sweet cat. I think he must have been a very old soul - he had those eyes that could just melt you! I never stop missing the ones that are gone....
